Star Trek Online - Perpetual Entertainment

Ron Moore had an interesting post a while back when Enterprise was cancelled and, for the first time in almost two decades, there would be no new Trek on the air. In his post, Trek goes back to the Fans, he makes an interesting observation - the first time Trek was cancelled back in the 60’s, obviously it didn’t die. Trek kept moving along, through grass roots methods such as fan clubs, conventions and fan fiction.

Well, here we are again. No official Trek, so what will fill the void? Well, in the 21st Century, what new Trek can we create via MMOPGs? This is shaping up to be a very interesting game: Star Trek Online - Perpetual Entertainment
