Interesting. I had one of the Littermaid boxes, and I agree, it was crap (pun intended). This mechanism, however, looks much more reliable. It’s expensive, but at least it uses regular kitchen garbage bags, not the stupid, expensive, proprietary Littermaid “receptacles.”

My only concern? I think Louie is too fat to fit in this …
