RR of the Day: Holden the Goat in high esteem – Autoblog

Owned by Flickr member Julius C., this late model GTO suffered an unfortunate up-close encounter with a guard rail one rainy day that created the perfect opportunity to practice some Aussie-inspired rhinoplasty. The damaged front end was swapped for a Holden Monaro look-a-like from JHP and a Gravana hood with two scoops was added for good measure. Mattel commissioned a street rod 1966 GTO for their booth this year. Purevision handled the build and has the before pictures on their website. We, however, have the fabulous after shots. The '66 Goat wears a suit of PPG's new Hot Wheel Spectraflame Watermelon paint over a Pontiac 421 and KMC Hot Wheels 20" wheels.
