Approximately 35,000 LEGO bricks were used. This includes almost all the pieces from 32 Blue Tubs (#3033), almost 300 (!) small baseplates (8×16 studs), and 63 blue plate packs from LEGO Shop-at-Home. This stunning duo of jet-black goats had a huge crowd around them at Russo and Steele, and we were proud to be among them. Absolutely perfect cars mechanically, and that black paint looked like liquid. Despite their similarities, they are two very different cars.

Watch this promo for Futurama’s return - TV Squad
Big huzzahs to reader John Geezer, who sent us a link to this fantastic promo for the upcoming new season of Futurama. The promo was created by Speed Bump Studios in an effort to get a job doing these for Comedy Central. It features a CGI version of Bender walking into a random house, drinking the owners’ wine, and stealing their candlesticks. "Hello, peasants!" he yells as he walks in. Really great stuff.

Basically, I just scanned in all my barcodes, fit them nicely into a row in photoshop and then printed them out onto a card. There are more detailed instructions that follow if you need them. This page shows the finished product."

It’s official! Pontiac to get RWD platform, likely in G8 - Autoblog
Perhaps riding a contact high from all the heady presentations at the NAIAS, GM product Czar Bob Lutz let fly that the Holden Commodore SS will be coming to the US as a Pontiac. Lutz went on to say that the car will be known as the G8, and that GM is looking at an official amount of “a lot.” In this case, a lot adds up to about 30,000 per year, with reserve capacity in case they nail it with price and features, and demand is high.
