Comparing Michael Phelps the Swimmer and Kyle Busch the Racer

Kyle, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to know the word humility exists. The only crying I ever see him do is in the figurative sense, when it comes to complaining about why he didn’t win. It is never his fault, but always someone else’s. He’s run over a teammate for a win.

Robert Culp Schools Us On Calling The ‘Greatest American Hero’ A Superhero

Robert Culp still rocks!

So what lead to my skewering? Well, I referred to “GAH” as a superhero franchise…something that Mr. Culp takes exception to. Find out why in the video below and then tell us if you agree. And here’s a related exclusive tid-bit…according to co-star Connie Sellecca, the trio (including of course star William Katt), have been offered cameos in the “GAH” feature film that showrunner Stephen J. Cannell is developing.

I am playing the Fable II Pub Games…but I have a little problem

Her: Wait. … What about the gold you lose?

Me: No…you lost.
Her: Yea, the gold we lost.
Me (sigh): Yes, the gold you lost. That’s where we have the problem. I’ll now start Fable II in debt. As in poor. As in owing money.
Her (turning to look at me for the first time since I walked in): Wow. That sucks. (she put the controller down and walks out of the room)Her: I hope you can pay off that debt before the game comes out. I am going out, see you later.

Photography is Not a Crime

“After purchasing my family membership and visiting the museum today I was forcibly thrown out of the museum by two museum security guards at the direction of the Director of Visitor Relations Simon Blint. My crime? Taking a photograph from the second floor stairs in the SFMOMA’s atrium (an area where the SF MOMA’s own website explicitly says…”

Film canister flash diffuser

filmcanasterdiffuser_200808.jpgIf you have an old white film canister and an x-acto knife, you can make a clever little flash diffuser that will slip over the flash on your typical SLR camera. Photojojo has a guide for making one. It should really take you about 5 minutes (assuming you have a canister on hand), so give it a shot. Your photographs—and your photo subjects—will thank you for it.

Ultimate Fiero resurrection: Lamborghini Reventon replica

What to do when you want the style of a Lamborghini without the obscene payment? Seek refuge in GM’s stunted program of 1980s awesomeness, the Fiero, that’s what. Armed with time and skill, a steel fabricator from Canada named Woody has done an incredible job transforming a $60 mid-engined Pontiac wedge into an amazing homage to the Reventon. Obviously talented, the finished Woodighini is going to be incredible, Woody’s done a fine job of transferring the Reventon’s proportions to the Fiero’s chassis.
