A look at the nation's top cuisine, college football style

Wow, top 5 in the nation – at least for food, not for the team. Still, when’s the last time you saw the Bear Cubs in Sports Illustrated?

5. Santa Rosa Junior College (The French Laundry): The Bear Cubs wouldn’t stand a chance against the other teams on this list, but their campus is 19 miles from a Yountville, Calif., restaurant that is one of the world’s best. The French Laundry is one of only a handful of American restaurants to receive three Michelin stars. Coincidentally, during my last trip to Archibald’s, I think I saw three abandoned Michelin tires near the parking lot. Several influential critics have argued that The French Laundry’s fare might be the best in the U.S. Those critics probably haven’t eaten free bacon at Wando’s, but if you’re hungry and have $500 burning a hole in your pocket, a nine-course tasting menu featuring organic produce and locally raised lamb would hit the spot.

Comparing Michael Phelps the Swimmer and Kyle Busch the Racer

Kyle, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to know the word humility exists. The only crying I ever see him do is in the figurative sense, when it comes to complaining about why he didn’t win. It is never his fault, but always someone else’s. He’s run over a teammate for a win.

Robert Culp Schools Us On Calling The ‘Greatest American Hero’ A Superhero

Robert Culp still rocks!

So what lead to my skewering? Well, I referred to “GAH” as a superhero franchise…something that Mr. Culp takes exception to. Find out why in the video below and then tell us if you agree. And here’s a related exclusive tid-bit…according to co-star Connie Sellecca, the trio (including of course star William Katt), have been offered cameos in the “GAH” feature film that showrunner Stephen J. Cannell is developing.

I am playing the Fable II Pub Games…but I have a little problem

Her: Wait. … What about the gold you lose?
Me: You mean the gold YOU lost?
Her: Yea. the gold we lost?
Me: No…you lost.
Her: Yea, the gold we lost.
Me (sigh): Yes, the gold you lost. That’s where we have the problem. I’ll now start Fable II in debt. As in poor. As in owing money.
Her (turning to look at me for the first time since I walked in): Wow. That sucks. (she put the controller down and walks out of the room)Her: I hope you can pay off that debt before the game comes out. I am going out, see you later.

Photography is Not a Crime

“After purchasing my family membership and visiting the museum today I was forcibly thrown out of the museum by two museum security guards at the direction of the Director of Visitor Relations Simon Blint. My crime? Taking a photograph from the second floor stairs in the SFMOMA’s atrium (an area where the SF MOMA’s own website explicitly says…”
