Home Theater: Designing a Death Star Theater, by Rachel Cericola - Electronic House Cool Home
Super-fans Vic Wertz and Lisa Stevens used to run the Official Star Wars Fan Club and even the “Star Wars Insider” magazine. But even though they’re both out of that business now, they still pay homage to their dark lord and master each and every day—thanks to their incredibly impressive and geeky home theater.

"My Ill-Conceived Jr. High Love Letter" by Patrick Cassels on CollegeHumor
I was going through some of my notes from junior high the other night and came across a love letter I wrote to Jessica King, this really pretty girl who sat two rows in front of me in my 8th-grade U.S. History class. In retrospect, my romantic sentiments could have been better expressed.

7-Elevens Converted to Kwik-E-Marts for The Simpsons Movie « FirstShowing.net
Everyone knows what the Kwik-E-Mart is and where it’s from, and with the upcoming Simpsons Movie hitting screens in less than a month, Fox is going all out to make sure we’re reminded of The Simpsons everywhere we go. The latest promotion they’ve put together is a nearly complete conversion of a number of 7-11 gas stations into Kwik-E-Marts, and I mean complete. The first photos have appeared online over at Flickr, and they’ve done a pretty good job of converting the place. Take a look at what is the first real life Kwik-E-Mart!
Aardman Animation Anounces Four New Projects - Cinematical
I was so, so, so happy when Aardman Animation (Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit) got a new distribution deal with Sony two months ago. And now I’m so, so, so happy that the two studios have announced four new projects, all of which sound amazing. It isn’t clear what film will arrive in theaters first, nor in what order these films will be released at all, but considering Aardman’s deal with Sony is only for three years, I’m guessing at least one of these will be in theaters by the end of 2008.
That’s what you get for leaving your ’speeder in Anchorhead overnight …
Comparing the recent photos of the speeder to the image published on the 1981 racing brochure, it’s doubtful even Luke Skywalker could have kept so much of the original vehicle intact. With the exception of the wrap-around grill, upholstery, Coke branding, and a couple other cosmetic changes, "Coke One" (as it is was originally called) appears relatively well-preserved, awaiting a new home in a collector’s garage or showroom.
