Comparing Michael Phelps the Swimmer and Kyle Busch the Racer

Kyle, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to know the word humility exists. The only crying I ever see him do is in the figurative sense, when it comes to complaining about why he didn’t win. It is never his fault, but always someone else’s. He’s run over a teammate for a win.

Kenseth team engineer Bolin to become crew chief

HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Roush Fenway Racing didn’t have to look far to find a new crew chief for Matt Kenseth.

Chip Bolin, the team engineer since 1999, will replace Robbie Reiser after Sunday’s Nextel Cup race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Reiser, the only crew chief Kenseth has known since he came to Cup in ‘99, is replacing Max Jones as the general manager at Roush. Jones is moving to Robert Yates Racing, which has developed an alliance with Roush.

Junior Continues to Unload Cars

Junior's C6Man, Junior must be in need of some cash :) Seriously, though, this is a very sweet C6. The airbrushed flames are an especially nice touch …

After selling his very sweet MINI Mania-suped MINI Cooper S to the highest bidder for $33,800.00, Dale Jr. is in the process of unloading another of his magnificent stable inhabitants, a 2005 Corvette C6 with paint work of cherry red and flames and only 2,096 miles on the odometer.

Danica Patrick switching to NASCAR, too?

Danica Patrick

Interesting. Danica would make a good impression in the Cup circuit, though personally, I think Erin Crocker deserves a shot first.

Hot on the heels of Juan Pablo Montoya's decision to leave the bright lights of Formula 1 for the barbecue pits of NASCAR at the end of the 2006 season is a report that Danica Patrick's father and manager, T.J. Patrick, is currently in exploratory talks with some NASCAR teams for his daughter to join the NEXTEL Cup circuit as early as next season.
