etchstar’s Flickrstream is chock-a-block with Apple products decorated with a number of Star Trek themed designs, amongst other things. There’s a Starfleet Command MacBook Pro, an Enterprise MacBook (seen above), an Enterprise A iPod, a Star Trek logo iPod, a Klingon Empire iPod, and a very cool nano or two.

Home Theater: Designing a Death Star Theater, by Rachel Cericola - Electronic House Cool Home
Super-fans Vic Wertz and Lisa Stevens used to run the Official Star Wars Fan Club and even the “Star Wars Insider” magazine. But even though they’re both out of that business now, they still pay homage to their dark lord and master each and every day—thanks to their incredibly impressive and geeky home theater.

"My Ill-Conceived Jr. High Love Letter" by Patrick Cassels on CollegeHumor
I was going through some of my notes from junior high the other night and came across a love letter I wrote to Jessica King, this really pretty girl who sat two rows in front of me in my 8th-grade U.S. History class. In retrospect, my romantic sentiments could have been better expressed.

Entering the flight deck was pretty strange. You think you know what to expect, yet something looks a bit … off. There’s two Viper Mark II ships and a Viper Mark VII and a Raptor; there’s where they work on the ships; there are the tools, the parts. But things just seem a bit small. These sets serve multiple purposes, and via the magic of green screens they can look much larger than they appear in person. This doesn’t mean that you don’t recognize this place immediately, though. In fact, during the panel you could get somewhat distracted when realizing that "holy **** I’m in the Galactica flight deck!"
That’s what you get for leaving your ’speeder in Anchorhead overnight …
Comparing the recent photos of the speeder to the image published on the 1981 racing brochure, it’s doubtful even Luke Skywalker could have kept so much of the original vehicle intact. With the exception of the wrap-around grill, upholstery, Coke branding, and a couple other cosmetic changes, "Coke One" (as it is was originally called) appears relatively well-preserved, awaiting a new home in a collector’s garage or showroom.
