New Futurama movie coming to DVD in June

FuturamaGood News, Everyone!

AnimationMagazine.net reports that Futurama: The Beast With A Billion Backs will be released on June 24, and they note that Fox calls it “the most tentacle-packed Futurama epic.” Since it’s a continuation of Bender’s Big Score, I’ll talk about the plot of the new movie after the jump, for the benefit of those who haven’t seen the first movie yet.

Watch the Skies! ‘The Greatest American Hero’ is Returning!

Freakin’ Awesome. But who could fill Robert Culp’s Shoes? Bring him out of retirement!

It’s like a light of a new day. It came from out of the blue — breaking me out of the spell I was in, making all of my wishes come….true? I’m not ashamed to say it — I am a huge fan of The Greatest American Hero. I would take on a job shining Robert Culp’s shoes if given the opportunity, and William Katt is one of the big reasons that I own the movie Jawbreaker (even though he’s only in it for a split second). Ralph Hinkley is my hero, and I’d pick him over Spider-Man, Superman, or even Wolverine (okay, maybe not the last one, if we’re talking X-Men or X2).

The inquisitive may ask: Do expensive cables really make a difference to picture quality? The store clerk that says “yes” is either lying or ignorant.

K.I.T.T. to trade Pontiac badge for a Mustang pony?

Reading Jalopnik’s readers’ comments is pretty funny, like the one from Papercutninja, “The Mustang is as technologically advanced as a Trans Am from the ’80s.” And this one from Seth, “It’s like putting the A-Team in Mercedes Sprinter!” But the best might be from SRT8Six, “Maybe the pilot episode will have Michael driving KITT around just so he can figure out where that annoying rattling sound is coming from.”
